Tom is a Partner, Managing Director and a Private Wealth Advisor at Snowden Lane Partners. He advises current and former professional athletes, corporate executives and business owners on a host of investment and planning matters. He augments his guidance by simplifying the investment experience, incorporating cost-efficiency with a performance based philosophy that may include alternative investments and structured products investments. Tom has also been instrumental in assisting companies navigate their retirement plans, including defined benefit, profit-sharing, and 401K strategies. Tom provides experience-based perspective to business owners to assist in navigating liquidity events, having founded and sold two businesses to major companies. His interest in finance led him to the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade, where he successfully traded U.S. Treasury Futures. His observations gleaned from trading fixed income paved the way to becoming a resource for high-net-worth families. His background provides the framework to clients, offering streamlined, strategic advice they can rely on to manage their financial affairs. Beginning his investment career at Chicago Corp (later sold to ABN AMRO.). Tom also serviced high net worth clients at William Blair and Credit Suisse, and J.P Morgan Securities. Tom graduated from Chicago State University with a B.A. in Business. He grew up in the Beverly area of Chicago, where he and his wife, Holly, live with their three children, Jack, Grace, and Isabella. He is actively involved in the Blackhawk Alumni Association, an organization dedicated to providing scholarships to the most deserving high school hockey players in Illinois. HE is also a Western Golf Association lifetime member, a past President of the Beverly Country Club. In his free time, Tom enjoys playing golf as well as skating and hockey.

Jim is a Partner, Managing Director and a Private Wealth Advisor at Snowden Lane partners. He works with successful entrepreneurs, business owners, professional athletes and ultra-high net worth families to assist them in achieving their financial goals. Jim applies his analytical and quantitative skills to achieve those ends. Specifically, he develops equity, fixed income and multi-assetpr investment strategies. In addition, he applies an asset allocation framework for clients to appropriately manage their wealth. Incorporated in these models, he provides analysis on mutual funds, ETFs, Fund managers, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Offerings. Certain clients require more detailed and specific analysis where Jim is able to provide solutions on concentrated stock positions, equity derivatives, and structured products. Previously, he has worked with J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Merrill Lynch in their high net worth divisions. Jim received an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a B.A from Harvard University. Jim is an active supporter of The Foundation for Alzheimer’s Research, Parkinson’s Research, Orphans of the Storm, and the Red Cross. He resides in Wilmette with his wife and three daughters. He is an avid golfer and hockey player.
