Michael Bird, CFP® Partner, Managing DirectorMichael provides wealth management, brokerage and financial planning services to individuals and families. He understands the complexities of inter-generational dynamics through his extensive experience working with families. Michael joined Snowden Lane from Roosevelt & Cross, a municipal bond firm, where he advised clients on their fixed-income investments. He began his career as a municipal bond trader in 1983, and subsequently managed municipal bond portfolios for individuals and family partnerships. Recognizing that fixed-income is one part of a successful investment approach, Michael works with best in class managers having expertise in equities and a variety of alternative approaches. His background in tax-exempt investments informs his approach to his client’s entire investment strategy. He and his wife Susan are long-time residents of Summit, New Jersey. Their four grown daughters are spread across the country. He enjoys cycling and skiing in his free time.
