A Certified Financial Planner since 2011, Schuyler is drawn to the problem solving that helps others. Schuyler graduated from Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont, where he also played and coached college football. Prior to beginning his career in wealth management, he spent time learning and working in the custom home building, real estate, and ski industries. When he isn’t enjoying the work he gets to do for his clients, Schuyler can be found exploring the mountains with a fly rod or on skis, spending time with his family and simply calling Colorado home.

Wendell Cayton is a 35 year veteran in the financial services industry, specializing in financial planning for families and surviving spouses. He holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Services from Golden Gate University of San Francisco, with specialized tax education at the masters level. As an adjunct professor in the GGU graduate program he has taught risk management to students pursuing graduate degrees in finance. He holds several industry credentials including CLU, ChFC and graduate degrees from the American College in Retirement Planning. In addition to finance industry experience, he is engaged in several entrepreneurial enterprises in agricultural fields. He divides his time between a home in Sheridan, Wyoming and a ranch near Sun Valley Idaho, where he is an avid skier, raises horses and enjoys other outdoor pursuits.

Erika Winters is a senior client relationship manager with the Mountain West Advisors group at Snowden Lane’s Golden, CO office. Since 2017, Erika has worked closely with Schuyler Cayton and his clients. Erika enjoys the financial planning process and being involved in helping clients reach their goals. While her primary focus is providing superior client service, her professional legal background is invaluable to the team and our clients. A Graduate of Washburn University School of Law and Kansas State, Erika and her husband Skip (a Physician and Army Veteran) share joy and pride in traveling and watching their two boys do the things they love. Her oldest is a Lacrosse Goalie at the Citadel in Charleston S.C. and her youngest is a world champion bagpiper currently attending Carnegie Mellon.
