Sara M. Gaskill was elected 2015 president of the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Ms. Gaskill is a principal with Gaskill Review Services. Deitrick, Behrooz Khalili and Hossein Noorbakhsh, a three-physician practice formerly affiliated with Pittsburgh’s Mercy Hospital, have joined Allegheny Health Network and the new Women and Infants Center of Jefferson Hospital. All are certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Henderson Brothers Inc. hired Sarah Perryman as a consultative associate, consultative department, and Andrew Siess as a consultant, personal lines department.

Snowden Lane Partners announced that financial advisers Robert E. Feldman and Donna G. Bowler have joined the firm from Merrill Lynch. Mr. Feldman is a partner and managing director, and Ms. Bowler serves as private wealth adviser. The Feldman Group will operate from Snowden Lane’s newly-opened Pittsburgh office.

Pittsburgh Corning Corp. appointed Rosalie J. Bell as vice president and general counsel.
Nonprofit
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens hired Mary Kathryn Poole as director of programming and operations for Let’s Move Pittsburgh — a collaborative of organizations, parents and caregivers working to improve the health of children in southwestern Pennsylvania.
The Homeless Children’s Education Fund announced that Laura J. Saulle was promoted to assistant executive director.

The Davis Cos. named Christopher Lasky vice president of development.

Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services provided advanced educational training for funeral director Ashley Fryer at the In-Sight Institute of Celebrant Training.
Susan Muschweck’s Interior Design of Gibsonia was honored for customer satisfaction by Houzz, a platform for home remodeling and design. The award is given in two categories: Design and Customer Satisfaction.

Resonance Works | Pittsburgh was awarded a $10,000 grant from The Heinz Endowments through its small arts initiative to support Flamenco y Tango.
The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania is calling for submissions to its 51st Golden Quill Awards, the annual competition that recognizes professional excellence in written, photographic, broadcast and online journalism in Western Pennsylvania. The entry deadline is Feb. 15. All entries must have been published or broadcast between Jan. 1, 2014, and Dec. 31, 2014, to be eligible. Entries to the Golden Quill Awards will be submitted using a Web-based program at www.betterbnc.com, and payment will be online only.
