Press Release – Snowden Lane Partners Opens New Madison Avenue Headquarters; Doubles NYC Footprint With Eye Toward Firm's Marked Growth

September 2015

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2015 – Snowden Lane Partners, an independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced the opening of its newly designed Manhattan headquarters at 540 Madison Avenue.
According to Snowden Lane’s Managing Partner and CEO, Rob Mooney, the firm’s growth and the expectation of adding new advisor teams in New York are the primary drivers for the larger and more modern office space.
“We set out to design a space that was reflective of two things – where we’re from and also where we’re headed,” Mooney said. “Our business message is resonating with advisors across the country, with a high concentration of interest among advisor teams in the New York market. The bigger space allows us to accommodate that interest.”
The new headquarters is more than twice the size of Snowden Lane’s previous office at 660 Madison Avenue. According to Greg Franks, Snowden Lane’s Managing Partner and President, the office has an open and contemporary feel. “When visitors walk our halls, they’ll instantly identify that we’re unlike the wirehouses in the type of atmosphere we’ve created in this new space. In it, people will feel the entrepreneurial spirit of our firm.”
The new space was designed by Aref & Associates Design Studios, from El Segundo, CA, who also designed Snowden Lane’s Pasadena, CA, office. The new office is on the 9th Floor of the 39-story building, just a few blocks from Central Park.
Lyle LaMothe, Snowden Lane’s Chairman, said that while the firm is recognized nationally for its high net worth and institutional money management expertise, New York has been central to its business plans given the city’s proximity to clients and wealth advisors.
Said LaMothe, “What’s always impressed me about Snowden Lane is the firm’s progressive vision of our industry. We strive to provide the advisory community with the tools it takes to help clients achieve their unique goals. That comes with creating a new, professional, creative and collaborative work experience like the one we built in our new home.”
