Lyle LaMothe becomes Snowden’s Non-Executive Chairman; Greg Franks becomes Managing Partner & President, and Chris Lappas becomes Chief Operating Officer
Snowden Capital Advisors LLC, an independent, advisor owned, wealth advisory firm dedicated to providing client-focused advice in a values-driven culture, today announced the appointments of Lyle LaMothe as Non-Executive Chairman of Snowden’s board, and Greg Franks, as a Managing Partner and Snowden’s President.
LaMothe is a Senior Partner of Left Hand Logic, LLC, a business consulting firm focused on the independent financial services industry. He was formerly head of U.S. Wealth Management for Merrill Lynch. Franks was formerly the Western Division Director, Mid-Atlantic Division Director and Regional Managing Director of U.S. Wealth Management for Merrill Lynch.
In addition, Chris Lappas has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer. Lappas was previously a Regional Director for Wealth Management and Banking in the Northeast Region for Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, he worked at Prudential Securities and Citibank.
Snowden is a nationally branded, registered investment adviser and broker-dealer that provides wealth advisory services to individuals, families, and institutional clients.
Snowden has also added two new strategic investors, Bob Doll, Chief Equity Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager at Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, and Brinker Capital, a dynamic independent asset management firm based in Berwyn, PA.Doll and Charles Widger, Executive Chairman of Brinker Capital’s board of directors, will join Snowden’s strategic advisory board which already includes Lyle LaMothe and Pete Mooney.

In addition, Snowden announced on November 26 that two teams of financial advisors, the DiCiaccio and LaMothe-Gonzalez Groups, which represent in excess of $500 million in client assets under management, joined Snowden as partners and have founded the firm’s West Coast branch office in Pasadena, California.
