Snowden Lane Hires Merrill Lynch Advisor

Independent wealth shop Snowden Lane Partners has hired a financial advisor who had $180 million in client assets under management for Merrill Lynch.

Sam DeGennaro joins the firm’s New Haven, Conn. office and specifically joins the advisor team of Kevin Guth and Steven Fordyce, who now have $1 billion under management. Snowden has a total of $2.5 billion in client assets under management.

DeGennaro spent nine years at Merrill and previously spent another 12 years at Citigroup Global Markets, according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority records.
