Eduardo Alvarez Partner, Managing DirectorEduardo is a Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane Partners, where he specializes in developing comprehensive wealth management solutions for affluent families in the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. As part of the Gulfstream Advisors team, Eduardo is dedicated to standing by his clients, helping them create holistic investment plans. He also focuses on macro investment research and the selection of investment managers, including those in alternative investments, stocks, and fixed income. Before joining Snowden Lane Partners in 2023, Eduardo spent two decades working at top U.S. and European financial institutions, including Lehman Brothers, Barclays PLC, and Morgan Stanley. His roles involved assisting clients in crafting tailored investment strategies, sales and trading, and investment research. Eduardo holds an MBA with a concentration in portfolio management from the University of Miami and graduated with honors in Economics from the University of Maryland. He possesses numerous industry licenses and titles, including certification as a Life Insurance & Annuities agent. Eduardo is also well-versed in alternative investments and family financial planning, frequently serving as an Outside Chief Financial Officer (OCIO) for his clients. Outside of work, Eduardo is passionate about skiing, Paddle Tennis, and enjoys reading historical novels and traveling to Africa. He and his wife, Adriana, are committed to supporting water access initiatives in impoverished nations such as Kenya, Sierra Leone, and South Africa. Eduardo also mentors high school students in career planning within his community. Eduardo and Adriana are proud parents to their young son, Mattias, and they enjoy living in Miami.
