George Arias Partner, Managing DirectorGeorge Arias is a Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane Partners. With 30 years of experience in the industry he has guided clients through a wide variety of financial markets. He is joining the Snowden Lane Partners firm after 9 years at Merrill Lynch in Miami, FL where he was the Vice President – International Wealth Advisor covering the US and Latin America markets, with a primary focus in Brazil. George began his career with Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company Private Banking Group in the mid-80s. In 1990 he moved over to the Deutsche Bank Group in New York as an International Private Banker, where he remained until 1999. During his tenure at Deutsche Bank he spent 4 years in Brazil, from 1993 until 1997, serving as the International Private Banking Representative for Deutsche Bank New York. He resided in both Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. In 1999 George moved to Miami and joined Wells Fargo as a Vice President for their International Wealth Management Group serving both the US and Latin American clients. In 2010 George made the move to Merrill Lynch as the Vice President – International Wealth Advisor. Prior to starting his successful Private Wealth Management career, George attended Pace University in New York and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration. He holds a Series 7,63 and 66 FINRA Registrations. He was born in New York City and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is also a member of the Prestigious Rotary Club, a philanthropic organization.
