Luis Gonzalez, CRPC® Senior Partner, Managing DirectorLuis is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane, where he provides investment advice and helps corporate clients set up and maintain company retirement plans. Luis started his career in wealth management in 1999 when he joined Merrill Lynch. He provides specialized advice suitable to high net worth individuals and business executives. Within the team his duties include establishing retirement plans for businesses large and small and employee education. He also concentrates his efforts on macro investment research and investment manager selection.

Luis is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a B.A. in Communication, holds the designation of CRPC® (Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM), and is fluent in Spanish. Luis’ mother was born in Havana, Cuba and his father was born in Arequipa, Peru. In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan, particularly soccer and NBA basketball. His favorite pro soccer team is Boca Juniors in Argentina. Aside from his love of sports, Luis’ favorite season is summer and enjoys vacationing in the Caribbean whenever possible. His two favorite islands are St. John in the US Virgin Islands and Grand Cayman.

Within the community, Luis serves as a motivational speaker to at-risk and underprivileged youth. He routinely gives “pep-talks” to high school students throughout the greater Los Angeles area, as well as business students in Southland universities. His daughter, Sofia, graduated with a bachelors in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Sofia currently lives in Aspen, Colorado. His other daughter Olivia is a Senior at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Ft. Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Andrea, live locally in the Pasadena area.
