Cynthia Hewitt is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane Partners. For the past 40 years, she has worked with affluent individuals, corporations and endowment funds to help them realize their financial goals through a focused, customized approach. She prides herself on assisting clients with reaching their goals using a thoughtful approach with simplicity, transparency and discipline. Along with her team, her passion is the commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of the families and organizations that she serves.

Prior to joining Snowden Lane, Cynthia spent her career as an advisor at Merrill Lynch where she earned numerous recognitions as a top financial advisor in the industry. In 2004 she was named as one of the top twenty women financial advisors in the nation by Research Magazine. She was named one of “America’s best financial advisors” by R.J. Shook in his book, The Winner’s Circle. In 2016, Barron’s recognized Cynthia for being one of only a few women to have been on the list of the top 100 Women Advisors in the country for ten consecutive years. In 2009, Cynthia was named as one of the top 1000 Advisors in the country by Barron’s and was named among the 2009 “Top 100 Wirehouse Advisors in America” by Registered Rep. magazine. In 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 Cynthia was named one of the top 1200 Advisors in the country and was named #1 in the state of Delaware by Barron’s. Additionally, Cynthia was honored as a Distinguished Alumna by The Tatnall School in Wilmington, Delaware.

She is a past member of the Merrill Lynch National Advisory Council to Management. Cynthia is a founder of the Fund for Women in Delaware and is a former participant on the Investment Committee for the Delaware Community Foundation. Since 2013, she has been a trustee of Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library. She currently chairs the Garden Committee, and is a member of the Executive Committee, the Investment Committee, and the Strategic Planning Task Force. Cynthia is a trustee of the Christiana Care Health System and the Library of American Landscape History. She is a former trustee of the Tatnall School and is the former chair of the Investment Committee that oversees Tatnall’s endowment fund and continues to serve as a member of the Investment Committee. Cynthia serves on the board of Delaware Wild Lands as well as The Land Conservancy for Southern Chester County. Past board memberships include the Ulster Project - Delaware and Delaware Guidance.

Cynthia is a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She earned a Certified Investment Management Analyst designation (CIMA), and is a former member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA). Cynthia also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning. In addition, she successfully completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor designation through IMCA.

Cynthia plays golf and enjoys boating and kayaking on the Chesapeake Bay. She lives in Yorklyn, Delaware with her husband and they have one grown son. They spend their time in Yorklyn and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, and in a cottage on the Northeast River in Maryland.

Keith is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane. He joins the firm after 20 years with Merrill Lynch, where he was a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor, and Portfolio Manager. With 32 years of experience in the industry, he has guided his clients through bull and bear markets, crashes and crises and co- founded his team with Alex Bryer in 2010 to focus on financial planning, portfolio management and exemplary service for their high net worth clientele. As a result, their group has earned the prestigious designation as one of Washington’s Premier Wealth Advisors in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Keith also received the 2016 and 2017 Washington, D. C. Five Star Wealth Manager Award and was recognized in the Washington Post for this achievement. Keith is a lifelong area resident who is active and well known in the community for his work with a variety of charities and philanthropic causes. He was awarded the Merrill Lynch Lifetime Community Achievement Award in 2002. Keith is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He has three grown children and lives with his wife, Meg, in Potomac, Md.

Alex is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at Snowden Lane Partners. He provides advisory, brokerage, and investment management services to his Snowden Lane wealth advisory clients. Alex joined Snowden Lane in 2015, after an exemplary 19 years at Merrill Lynch serving both as a Wealth Management Advisor and Senior Resident Director. Alex helps his clients achieve their planning and financial goals. Alex has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the financial markets, portfolio construction, and planning. Alex has been recognized as a top retirement plan advisor by Financial Times in 2017 and a “Best-in-state Wealth advisor” by Forbes in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Alex holds the professional designations of CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) and CRPC® (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor). He holds the Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 31, 63 and 65 licenses. Alex and his wife Erin live in Bethesda, Maryland with their three children. They are active with local charities and the community.

Ryan Kirby, CRPC® has been a trusted advisor to individuals, families and foundations for over 22 years. He aligns with accountants and estate attorneys to provide synergies necessary to advise in the most efficient financial planning process. His passion is investments and understanding his client’s goals, dreams and risk tolerance. All the while providing historical returns of the market to provide context to the plan. Ryan holds Series 7, 63, 65, 9, 10 & 31 licenses. He lives in Berlin with his wife, Kristen, and three daughters, Rylie, Kennedy and Lily. Ryan serves on the boards of Diakonia and the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation.

Chris is a Partner and Director at Snowden Lane Partners. He joins the firm from Merrill Lynch, where he served as a Senior Financial Advisor and Assistant Vice President. Through over a decade of industry experience, he has developed and refined wealth management processes specifically tailored to help Delta Air Lines pilots, business owners, and institutions reach their financial goals. Chris is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee. He attended the University of Delaware and Salisbury University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with his wife and children.

Ryan is a Senior Client Relationship Manager and Private Wealth Advisor at Snowden Lane Partners. Ryan oversees all aspects of client service, trading, and operations for the Riverstone Capital Wealth Group’s two Maryland offices. He specializes in advising corporations, business owners and non-profit organizations to manage the fiduciary duties of sponsoring 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plans. He also works with individuals and family clients to provide comprehensive investment and financial planning solutions. Ryan has over 15 years of experience in investment management and business consulting. Prior to Snowden, his experience as an investment analyst and consultant spanned the equity, fixed income, and alternative investment markets. Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Washington DC. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee and holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. Ryan lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife, Nicole, and their three children.

Matty Callahan is a Client Relationship Manager with Snowden Lane Partners. He grew up in Germantown, MD and currently resides in Chevy Chase, MD. He received his undergraduate degree from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) in Westminster, MD. Matty played football and was quarterback for the Green Terror. Prior to joining Snowden Lane, Matty was with US Express Freight Systems. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, reading, playing chess and traveling.
